Cat Tales Rescue is an all volunteer organization dedicated to helping all homeless and abandoned cats and kittens in the greater Muskegon, Michigan area.

Every effort is made to find homes for each cat or kitten taken in. If a home is not found, they are loved and taken care of by compassionate volunteers until a permanent home comes along!

Each cat or kitten brought in to Cat Tales is given a physical examination; any needed shots; is wormed, and is checked and treated for fleas if necessary. They are also spayed or neutered before being adopted out. Any other medical treatment necessary is also given to insure the cat’s health.

We like to work directly with each prospective adoptive “family” to make sure that the cat is a good match to the personality and lifestyle of the home in which it will be adopted.

Cat Tales has been in operation for over 8 years. In that time we have rescued and found homes for hundreds of cats and kittens. Our “foster parents” have hand-raised many litters of kittens whose mothers were killed or otherwise separated from their newborns.

We often bring available cats to Petsmart in Muskegon MI. The address is:
1720 East Sherman Boulevard, Muskegon, MI. If you would like to know when our next adoption there will be, please call us at 231-798-1033.

We try to post pictures of the available cats and kittens on our Facebook page so please Like our page.

We are always needing volunteers to help with day to day activities.  The extra bonus is lots of time to give the cats some extra love.  If you are unable to volunteer, please consider a donation to the organization.  There is so much that is done behind the scenes to make sure all cats in our care are healthy.  Your donation would greatly help with supplies such as litter, food, medicine and general pet and cleaning supplies.
